As a result, the total energy capacity of the proposed Project has been reduced to 49 MW of electricity, which is below the 50 MW threshold for power plants requiring an Environmental Assessment (EA) under the Reviewable Projects Regulation. The Proponent has requested to opt-in to an EA review for the proposed Project, and the request has been granted.
