	<title>Open Houses and Invitation to Comment</title>
	<description>The public is invited to open houses at three locations to obtain information about and comment on the draft Terms of Reference which will be made available to the public on March 18, 2009.  The draft Terms of Reference will describe the information to be provided in the Application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate.  A 33 day public comment period on the draft Terms of Reference will start on March 18, 2009 and end at midnight April 20, 2009. All comments received during this comment period in relation to the Terms of Reference will be considered.</description>

	<description>The British Columbia Transmission Corporation has formally requested that the Environmental Assessment Office work with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency to re-engage the environmental assessment process for the proposed Northwest Transmission Line project. It is expected that a public comment period on the draft Terms of reference will take place early in 2009. </description>
